SECOND GENERATION

2. George Edward RUSHWORTH (Private). Known as Edward or Ted.

I don't mind telling you just a bit about myself. I was born at North Ives Farm, Horsforth, near Leeds in Yorkshire in 1930. I did various jobs, but mainly 20 years as H. M. Inspector of Factories in Yorkshire, Wales, and Scotland, and then 15 years as an Industrial Health and Safety Consultant in Scotland. My hobbies, besides genealogy, recently included DIY property maintenance, green woodworking with a pole lathe ('bodging'), fishing, shooting, caravanning etc.. But I am slowing down with that dreaded terminal condition known as old age!
