28. William Norwood CHEESMAN J.P., F.L.S. was born on 1 Feb 1847 in Winterton, Lincolnshire. He was baptised on 7 Feb 1847 in Winterton, Lincolnshire. He was a Draper between 1870 and 1925 in Selby. He appeared on the census in 1881 in Selby. He was elected as Fellow of the Linnean Society of London (1788) in 1903 in Burlington House, Piccadilly, London W1V 0LQ. He was elected as President of the Yorkshire Naturalist's Union in 1916. He was elected as Jusice of the Peace in 1924 in Selby. He was Prominent Freemason and Archaeologist in 1924 in Selby, Yorkshire.. He was elected as President of the British Mycological Society in 1925. He died on 7 Nov 1925 in Selby. He was married to Margaret Ellen BURTON on 25 Oct 1883.

29. Margaret Ellen BURTON was born on 3 Jul 1858. She appeared on the census in 1881 in Hinderwell, Yorkshire. She died on 25 Jan 1963 in Uttoxeter. She was buried on 29 Jan 1963 in Selby Abbey. Children were:
