retirement in 1970. Lay Reader at St. Peter's church, Redcar; also running
Youth Fellowship etc.
Retired to Ampleforth, nr. York; again much involved in local church (St.
Hilda's).
Died of cancer of the large bowel.
Cremated st York; ashes in St. Hilda's church yard, near South door (with those
of his wife).
